Most humans (including myself) have lost touch with the Earth, the ecosystem, it's relation to the moon, sun, and stars. Which basically means, we've lost touch with the Universe and by another name God. "They" (which is really us) so "WE" have ourselves so wrapped up with downloads, ring tones, Hybrids, and flat panel HDTV's that we have truly lost touch with the "real" workings of the Universe. Now of course, in our past (when we were ancients), we had this connection. We once knew the Universe intimately... and we also had rotted teeth by age 27, and tons of crazy diseases like leprosy... So who's to say whether we're truly evolving or not.
I guess what I'm getting at is: How fucking lame are Crocs? They are truly the GAYEST shoes I've seen since Uggs, DockSiders and Gels.
When's the last time you really stopped and felt the pulse of GRAVITY (a force that scientist still have not been able to explain) Even if you weren't wearing the amazing "clouds on your feet" that are known as Crocs. Theres so much asphalt and cement underfoot it would be impossible to truly detect the Earth's heart beat... but that pulse is not weak. The Earth is Strong. The Earth is YOUNG and GLOBAL WARMING is GOOD! Yes, I said it, am I the only one that is FOR Global Warming? Sure, there will be unwelcome changes that come with the Ice Caps melting... BUT there will be some great things that come with it as well... Sea life will prosper, deserts will become fertile, the northern most lands masses will become inhabitable... and Crocs will eventually go out of style... Hopefully, before the ice caps melt.
When the Earth finally decides to shake us off like the fleas and parasites we truly are... I will not be sad, that will not be the end of humans, just the end of "Modern" Humans... maybe the next round will get it right? We will see, and that will be fun to watch... certainly more fun than anything I've had the pleasure of shooting.
