Sign in Concerns: 'Remember me' optionPrintIf you select the option labeled 'Remember me on this computer,' the orkut sign-in page will remember your username and password for up to two weeks, unless you sign out of your Google Account. Select this option if you're the only person using the computer. You should never select it if you're using a publicly accessible computer, or if you're sharing the computer with others to prevent your orkut profile from being open to anyone who uses the same computer after you. The cookie that remembers your Google Account information is set to expire after two weeks. When this happens, you need to enter your orkut username and password and select the 'remember me' checkbox again in order to re-enable the feature.
How to prevent information from being saved on your computerIf your information is being saved on a computer and you don't want it to be, first, check if the 'remember me' option is enabled. In this case, delete your browser's cookies. Additionally, each time you sign in to orkut, make sure the 'remember me' checkbox isn't selected. If the problem persists, you may want to clear your browser's cache and cookies. Please note that while deleting your cookies may resolve the problem, it will also remove your saved settings for sites you've previously visited. If the 'remember me' option isn't enabled, and you're using Internet Explorer, check if the AutoComplete feature is enabled in your browser's settings. Here's how you can disable the Internet Explorer autocomplete feature:
