Sign in Information: Migrating your profile to another Google Account

Print

Once you've linked your orkut profile to a Google Account username and password, you won't be able to migrate your profile to a different Google Account We're sorry that we're unable to help you change the account associated with your orkut profile at this time.

You can make changes to your Google Account by signing in and clicking the Edit link located next to 'Personal information.' You can also access this page through your orkut profile. Here's how:

  1. Click settings on the left sidebar of your profile.
  2. On the general tab, click the link to visit your Google Account Settings. On the My Account page, you'll have the option to change your email address (username), personal name, nickname, home country, and time zone.

Note: if you use Gmail, you won't see the option to change your username. Only accounts without Gmail can have the usernames changed. It's also not possible to associate your Google Account to an existing Gmail address.
