You may notice that there are email addresses listed on your homepage with a request to verify these email addresses. orkut verifies all email addresses to prevent others from using your email address. We do this by sending a verification email to your account each time you add or change an email address on your profile.

To verify your address, click the link in the verification email you received or click verify these email addresses on your homepage to send another verification email. If this is not your correct email address, click edit to change or delete this email address.

Once you've verified all your email addresses on orkut, you'll no longer see this message at the top of your homepage.
