I think someone compromised my account, I can't log in, and things look different!
The first thing I would suggest is to try to receive your password if you feel it has been compromised by a third party who has changed it. You can do that by going to : http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.retrievepassword and following the instructions on the page. If your email account password is the same as your MySpace.com account, you may want to change both to stop any further unauthorized access to your profile.
If you have already done that and still can’t receive your password , or, if the email address you currently use is invalid, in order to verify your identity we need you to send a salute. This is just a way for us to verify your identity. All that means is that we will need for you to send us an image of yourself holding up a handwritten sign that has either your Myspace.com URL or friend ID number. You can either send the salute as an email attachment or as a link to where it is uploaded. Make sure you include the URL of the account that you need to regain access to. If you want to change your login information, please include what you would like your new email log in address and password to be. Please be sure that the email is not currently in use or associated with another MySpace profile. Once we receive this information, we will update your account for you.
If you need more info on changing your password I can help you with that now. Changing your password is simple to do and can be done any anytime on MySpace. First go to account settings which should be next to your default photo, if you have the classic view. If you are using the new skin it will be found in the navigation bar. Once in your account settings find the tab labeled password. After that just fill out all required fields and enter the verification code. You should then be able to login using your new password.
