How do I remove my child's profile from MySpace.com?

If you would like the child’s profile removed, we ask that you please work with the teen in question to remove/delete the MySpace account/profile. Once you are logged into MySpace.com (as you were when you wrote us), click on the My Account option in the upper right hand corner. After clicking on that option, a new page will be displayed with the option to cancel the MySpace account in the last section below. Click on the link titled, Cancel Account to proceed with the cancellation request. An email will be sent to the email address used as the login name to verify account deletion.

PLEASE NOTE: If the email address on the account is no longer/not valid, or you never receive the final account deletion email, please remove all content from the profile sections and type "PLEASE REMOVE" in the About Me section. Doing so lets us know you have taken control of the account.

Once PLEASE REMOVE has been added in the About Me section please send an email to parentcare@myspace.com, requesting we remove the account due to the fact that you did not receive the cancellation email. Once we receive this email, we will be more than happy to assist you in removing/deleting the account.

      The MySpace Safety Site
We have recently introduced a new addition to the MySpace site that has useful information regarding online safety and other tips and resources. The Safety Site has different sections designed specifically for parents & educators, teens, and additional resources, such as safety videos, tips and settings.
