Why is my Profile page suddenly messed up? It has music, sound or strange graphics on it?

I understand that you are having trouble with your profile. Unfortunately, MySpace Customer Support is not able to directly assist you with HTML questions and inquiries. For information on using HTML/XML/CSS with your MySpace profile go to: http://www.myspace.com/profilesupport In addition to the information available on the profile support page listed above, we also have some handy tips to share with you:

HTML/XML/CSS Tips

Adding color, graphics, and sound to your profile page is easy and requires only a basic knowledge of HTML (the programming language used to create web pages on the Internet). To add color, graphics or sound to your MySpace profile go to Edit Profile link on your homepage and enter the desired HTML coding in the appropriate section. If you do not know HTML, you can reach out and make a new MySpace friend by asking them how they added color, graphics and/or sound to their profile. Another option available is to use the internet to locate HTML coding or look at other MySpace profiles to see what website or service they used to add this to their profile. People on MySpace are friendly and always willing to help, so just ask! This is a great way to meet new people!
      MySpace Profile Editor

If you think you have caused the problem yourself through improperly implementing HTML or CSS code on your Profile page, simply troubleshoot your code to determine where the error is, and fix it.

If HTML seems too complicated to use, no worries, try our new Profile Editor! The Profile Editor is a tool that is easy to use so you can customize your MySpace profile. To begin using MySpace Profile Editor go to: http://profileedit.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=profile.editor If you have used Profile Editor and are having problems viewing the changes you have made to your page, you will have to clear the HTML code from the customize section of the Profile Editor in order to make any further layout changes to your profile. For example, if you want to add code in your About Me section, you'll have to delete the current code on the Profile Editor section first. In order to do this, follow these steps: 1. Log in to your MySpace profile and click on the Edit Profile link. 2. On the right hand side of the page you will see View My Profile, Account Settings, and Profile Editor. Click on the Profile Editor link. 3. Once you are in Profile Editor, click on Theme Library. 4. A theme titled, No Style will appear. Click on that link to remove all code for that section. Remember, this will wipe out all of the existing code (No worries, it won't wipe out your friends, comments, etc..., just the layout for the section you are trying to update). 5. To complete the removal of the existing code, click Save and Publish. After completing these steps, the page will default to the original MySpace layout with the white, blue and orange page. To update your code click on the Home link and enter the new code into the section you are updating.
          Defective HTML/XML/CSS
If the background color on your profile has reverted to either gray or white. DO NOT change your HTML. This is a known issue and we appreciate your patience while we work hard to fix it for you. If it appears as if there is an incorrect or defective HTML, XML and CSS code somewhere on your profile, you will need to edit the code yourself as we will not be able to assist you in performing that function. To edit your HTML, XML and CSS code log in to your profile and click on the Edit Profile link. This will take you to the page that will allow you to edit any of the sections on your profile. If you see code in any of the sections that was not entered by you, it is recommended that you delete the code. If you are unable to locate the defective code, another option is to cut and paste all the code for that section(s) onto a word document for you to review. Once you have located the defective code, copy and paste the fixed code back into the section. If this does not address your issue completely, please press Reply and provide any additional information you feel is relevant.
