Bebo is looking for a community manager to play a key role in its emerging Open Application Platform. The primary objective in this role is to manage and grow the Bebo Application Platform. This role will have two major areas of responsibility: (1) Day-to-day developer community management. This includes: communicating policy changes, responding to individual issues and requests and collecting and analyzing feedback to identify areas for improvement. (2) Project management of key business initiatives: ensure the effective implementation of platform partnerships and product enhancements.
Managing a developer community requires timely and frequent interaction with developers. The candidate should be well-versed in managing online communities/forums and sufficiently technical to address developer questions head-on. This is an opportunity to be intimately involved in shaping one of the newest and most important aspects of social networking.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage relationship with developer community to solve issues, answer questions and manage day to day partner relationships and integration
- Assist in establishing and enforcing community standards, respect and helpfulness including liaising closely with the Bebo customer service team
- Work closely with engineering team to integrate feedback into product strategy
- Work with product, engineering and business development teams to implement new ideas and programs
- Develop and manage key metrics to analyze and synthesize performance data
- Drive word of mouth marketing
- Build relationship with developer community through online and offline events.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the consumer Internet media space
- 3-5 years of media or Internet account management, product development or marketing experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow many account relationships simultaneously
- Superior communication skills including presentations, phone and e-mail
- Must be a true team player, able to share responsibility for key decision making with a team, while accepting responsibility to drive internal account and project management process

Qualifications:

Open Media Account Manager - San Francisco 104409BR
The primary objective in this role is to manage and grow Bebo partnerships. The BD Account Manager will have two major responsibilities:
- Pre/Post-deal account management – acting as primary contact for defined partner set and working with them to support and grow partnership
- Project management of key business initiatives - ensuring all BD partnerships are implemented with best practices across Bebo services
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing strong day to day relationships with partner counterparts; understanding partner businesses and product strategy objectives and ensuring those objectives are integrated into partnerships with Bebo
- Working across the organization to implement and support partner-specific initiatives
- Analyzing overall deal performance and developing initiatives designed to grow the partnership
