| So BIG NEWS - I got offered that job at the label, after wowing them with all your (and mine) music. Sofs showed me this way I could get cash from the government for staying in some form of learning (www.direct.gov.uk/ema), which was literally a load off my mind So I've basically spent this week coming up with this genius plan (even though I say so myself) where I can stay on at college and also help them out at the label. The thing is, I just don't know if they're gonna go for it - they were pretty keen to have someone on full time. Thanks to everyone who told me all the music they were listening to, the label were well impressed by my band knowledge. But do you think it was enough to wow them though? Luv Jill xx. | ||||

| ...has happened to yours truly, but I need your help. I don't wanna tempt fate but I need to know some really good music and really quickly. The holiday's been more of a journey than I could ever have imagined - I feel like I'm on Pop Idol or something. Who would believe that my Dad is actually alive, in a band and living about half an hour from this internet cafe where I'm writing this now? I feel so excited about meeting him and finding out all about my new family. Who could have wished for a better holiday that this? I can't wait to see him. I'll write all about it later. | I've stumbled in to a right mystery on holiday. The first place we turned up at there was a pub which is in this photograph I have of my Dad. I wasn't sure at first but now I know it's definitely the pub in the picture. Sof and Jo have helped me do a bit of research at the library, and part of me really really wants to find out more about what he was doing here. But what can I really find out that my mum hasn't already told me?, and besides this is supposed to be a holiday. But I can't stop thinking about him being here, (not at this internet cafe!!!), but in this town. What to do, Jill xx. | ||||

| Someone just left a comment saying why hadn't I changed my relationship status? I was like, yeah Jill, why not? All that fuss last week with Sofs and Josh has put me off my Jill and her man stride. | So there I am thinking I soooooo don't feel like having an end of year party. I just want to slip away in to the summer holidays when suddenly I find myself volunteering to organise it. How did that happen? Well, you know, here's how it happened. No one else volunteered. And suddenly the thought of there being no party at all is just unbearable. No party, no prom dress, no band, no limo, no FUN. I look round the room hoping someone else will put there hand up. And then suddenly without warning GUESS WHO has her hand up in the air volunteering for the job. Me, little ol Jill Johnson. Oh well - you know what they say - if you want something done ask a busy person. What's the smiley face for a busy person d'ya reckon? | ||||

| Hello everyone. I’m having a really hard time at the moment. For those of you that don’t know. Our boy Sean Walker has been shot. It’s a very difficult time for everyone I know. You gotta be brave, I know that but sometimes I miss him so much it’s overwhelming – I don’t know if anyone can understand that. I’ve still got his music I guess, but at the moment that isn’t enough. | I've been so busy trying to get my boys Sean, Mikey and Scratch in front of the industry guys that I have not spent even the time of day trying to get them in front of my BEBO audience. And this bunnies is from a girl who really, really, really takes her music seriously!! Talking of my musical blogs. A man-sized big old thanx to those who comments about my superior taste in music. It sure takes talent to recognise talent as I always say!!! So I don't wanna waste any more time before saying listen out for Scarz. Their track 'Link Me' is one of the quickest ways I know to get a room to get up and get down - you seriously cannot listen to that without starting to move. | Can you believe the Ting Tings are No 1? I knew they'd be hot but not that hot!! What to play up next? well news just in on this music luvverrs desk is Nicol (m8 Sofia is often given them to play as the soundtrack to her vids) are doing some gigs in the city. At Tommy Hilfiger on Carnaby St on the 5th June at 1pm AND 3pm on the 6th June at Hugo Boss. It's FREE bunnies. Come down, chill out and check it out. | What can I say? Ex. Ci. Ted. So finally blog readers here is my review of the Ting Tings bouncy pop track and their gig too. The Ting Tings attitood it up with a no nonsense approach to name calling in ‘That’s Not My Name’ out May 11th and an album ‘We Started Nothing’ out on the 19th. Singer White wants no darling, no sexsi, no babe, no way. It’s gotta be Go Go Go girl power like it’s 1996 all over again. It all comes together well for the Salford two in this kinda catchy kinda clashy indie pop track. Live, the band captured the imaginations of me and the techie geek companion of just how the band started out by rocking the crowds at friend’s house parties. A short set in a lil’ venue had everyone banging, clapping, yelping and grooving away. At the end, yes, we wanted much much more, which is fine because there’s no way the Ting Tings are done yet. Watch this space or watch their Myspace for a list of upcoming gigs!! So it’s been a Ting Ting kinda weekend, and I’m gonna be celebrating it this week by playing their track loud, loud, loud. So if you’re coming round and you don’t know where I live – listen out for their sound and walk towards it.
