For an Angeleno I guess I don't go to enough movies. I am over the Hostel-type movies. I really like well-done Dramas like that Edward Norton one filmed in China or Spitfire Grill. I also get into stupid physical comedies like Norbit or Nacho Libre. Rotten Tomatoes has spared me a lost evening on many an occasion...

I am trying to watch less TV. If I do, hmmh - Weeds, Big Love, and I really hate to admit it but the Hills.
Books
Books about business or dog training...never could get into fiction.
Heroes
Hmmh, this always seemed like a cheesy question to me. Heroes - I don't know. But I admire people who raise kids with thought, and people who take the time to help others regularly.

I'm Brandon - I spent a lot of time away from California - going to school on the east coast, living in Japan for many years, and now I'm back home, squeezing every last drop out of life, being crazy athletic, trying to heed my call to service, loving my dog and my amazing job, and hoping to find a few more close friends along the way.
I'm now at intermediate level in my new sport - beach volleyball (the 2x2 variety), which I'm actually learning in a class every Saturday morning in Manhattan Beach. Then I jump in the ocean for a 2-mile swim after class, it's COLD! But beautiful. I've finally gotten back to volunteering in food pantries and am making a concerted effort to express myself both to my friends and in writing. 2008 is the year I focus on personal development and being as sincere as I possibly can in all aspects of my life.
Who I'd like to meet: Sincere, fun, athletic people who are responsible and love cutting loose on the weekend and getting outside. I get into all kinds of people, both guys and girls, especially if you're fun and full of energy. I tend to gravitate towards people I feel have a strong sense of character.
