    not really... i raced a newer one with an upgraded turbo and fmic in my z28 with cai, test pipe and egr blockoff. i had him by 4 cars every time.


    That's because those are 3000lbs cars with 1.8 liters of trash. Racing my buddies 1,750lbs Rabbit with similar power is another story ;).

    The SOB sold it before he came to my house, damn jack ass. So now I have to go with my other trade offer, 2000 Audi A4 turbo 5 speed. Not bad, but it's a 2000 with 215K miles lol

    And optispark sucks so bad it basically forced my friend with his LT4 (swapped) Camaro to get standalone.

    gor for an LS1 there all over the place and for dam good deals too,my LT1 that i had i thought was better then the LS1 till i bought my SS its like night and day,look on ls1tech im sure you can find a modded one for a good deal but it's your choice if you want an LT1 go for it i still got parts for 1 :)

    my camaro has 235k miles on it, never had a problem with the opti, though i did go ahead and replace it when i changed the waterpump 40k miles ago. some people never have problems with them and some people are plagued with problems.
